A nice "eye candy" flight.. I knew it was coming.

This time way too hot, scrubbed the approach on 25 and turned around for 07 - couldn't see a darn thing until 1/2 mile out, no GS. That woke me up for the rest of the day.. Dripping sweat.

BRUTAL!! Akevitt, Glogg & Brennevin was spilled all over the place.
Got behind the curve in the large, kerosene burning, aluminum tube on descent.. 51 seconds in overspeed.
Need lots more practice in the tubes.

A quick morning run with the java.
I have the baton in the new Rob Richardson F9F-8 Cougar  (not whitelisted, maiden run), the newly released Duenna v2.0.2018 R162 & FSRealWX Pro.

Flight report - Alt, trying to stay at 5000 ft. Under AP alt hold massive phugoid! +/- 500 feet w/ +/-4000 fpm corrections. Hand flying OK 
Range - again at 5000 ft, not far... ~275nm is it, all tanks (incl. drops) filled.

Stepping out of the structured route (for now) for another test of the RR F9F-8. This time at 25K feet.
I have the baton ENDU --> ENCN

Baton down safe at ENCN, resume at ENDU.

She sure is a beauty, a "Cougar" too!         So,,,, watch out you young men..   

Not scientific tests due to using real WX and not being structured.
At FL250 after speed was stabilized, range = ~440 nm, no phugoid in alt hold.
At FL350 after speed stabilized and previous climbs, range = ~650 nm, throttle changes were made to make the 706 nm route due to winds, again no phugoid.
