I don't normally do long haul flying but every once in a while I'll bust out the 777 and do a flight across the pond. Does P2A simulate Oceanic control?

No, not like in the Real World Trans Oceanic flight.

However, you would have an ATC Center controller giving standard responses, assuming you input and fly the correct flight plan.
