1st pic of the PMDG 747 F...all the ground equip!

Recommended Posts

1st of many shots.

The ground equip is outstanding!  What a touch it adds to freighter ops!

The plane...indescribable (You have to fly it to appreciate it).

The package..completely complete!

The purchase, download and install...FLAWLESS

FPS and VAS...right there with the 777, maybe a bit better but I'm not breaking out any counters...the plane is smooth.

Purchase decision if you're on the fence...Get off the fence and get it!

OK...back to flying...need to get this cargo in the air!

Yes that is a tail stand being wheeled in, plus a honey bucket truck (almost in the pic...but on the way), staff van, potable water truck, more loaders you can shake a stick at.....Freight ops nirvana!

I bought her for cargo ops exclusively.

I will start my cargo ops with Cargolux - downloading now :-)

Looks awesome!  I might have to get into some long haul stuff for this...   I typically do short routes in the NGX but I may have to step it up!

Thanks guys.....this is hands down the top flightsim package available.  If you love the 747, you MUST own this!

Hey Mike,

Then you need to get over to my house and see it on my 55" 4k TV....once you do, you will FIND a way to own it!    (Eating is way over rated...just miss a few meals and she can be yours, hehe)

Thanks for the offer. I'm just whining. I don't do a lot of long hauls but I'm sure I'll own this one too. It looks great.

Hey Mike no worries.

If you're into short haul...the package comes with the "D" model...you could have a blast over in Japan island hopping with her like a few of their carriers did!

Excellent capture of the new PMDG queen!  Hope they convert it to X-Plane in the future.

Great shot though I'm still on the fence.

Love my 777F and was never a super fan of the 400.

I really like the 8F but that means I will have to purchase this one anyway.

I'm holding for now and see where does it lead me :)

I completely understand you, Paul. I'm an huge fan of the 777 (it's my favourite aircraft actually) but this 747... is a truly masterpiece. You won't regret, believe me.

Hey Pawel,

I echo Pedro's comments.  The 777 is one of my favorites as well...but this 747....like Pedro said..."Masterpiece"

One thing I did was to try all 3 engine variations...just the sound differences were enough for me to push the BUY button...and how they sound with a good audio system (including a subwoofer)...heavenly....especially the RRs!  That distinctive whine they put out is recreated perfectly IMO.
