Possible additional variations?

so we know the -8 are on the way. Any chance for any other variants of the 747? like the -100/-200/-300/SP?

I do not think so because these classic variants are kind of different. Firstly, they have analog gauges. The biggest addition to that is there is an engineer's panel. The engineer was the crew member who managed all these different systems. There is also no advanced Flight Management Systems as glass cockpits. Classic airliners used such as the 747 used INS navigation along with Radio navigation more.

i am well aware, if they can pull off a DC6, then this should be a piece of cake. anyways, one is allowed to dream right.

I highly doubt PMDG will be focusing on outdated airframes which are by most....not in service anymore.

yet they made the DC6 (pretty outdated to me, by a long shot... heck its older than the 747). i know its unlikely, not looking for validation or support. it was a thought.
