C&D panel bug

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

After selecting the 744 cold and dark state, and put the camera outside, and looking at the fan blades,  they are spinning but in freeze mode.

After starting the APU (and turning on APU gen's), the engines unfreeze, start to spin and stop about 1 minute later.

Anyone has this issue ?

I am not seeing that Jason.  Also, not sure I understand because to me 'freeze' means not moving and 'spinning' is moving so I'm not getting the picture.

The blades of a shut down engine will windmill if there is sufficient breeze.

Yes, that's covered in the manual, and i deleted the fsuipc.ini file, but the result is the same.

This is how the engine stays after the C&D selected (yes it's "frozen")

And this is how it should look like (but it only stays like this after you turn the apu gen's on, about 1min after it starts spinning

Hi,

Yesterday I realised, that I have the same issue. When I choose C&D-, Long- or Short-state, the engines look like on your pictures ("frozen"). It resolves itself after 2 or 3 minutes and after I switch once or twice from cockpit to the outside view.

It happens with all types. (I also tried deleting the fsuipc.ini file, which didn't help).
