February 3, 20179 yr Commercial Member Ryan I was in the British Airways-400 RR. The UPS-400F did not have the issue.Shot in the dark, could the ASN icing effects option cause this? I have a vague recollection of this being attributed to ASN and their "ice accretion" model. I also recall reaching out to Damien at HiFi on the topic- but I'll be darned if I can remember what the results of that conversation was. Damien is a very straight-up guy who approaches problem solving without any blame or ego- so that also tells me it might not be ASN itself, but might be FSX doing the deed... and the ASN icing just triggers it when it occurs... Might be worth looking for a way to turn that off. Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com
February 3, 20179 yr Hello ! First I would like to congratulate the team on a successful launch,I hope you guys are able to find some time to relax now(although I highly doubt it) It has been a wonderful ride seeing the development of the 747 v3..coming all the way from v1. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the near future( cough..cough md11..cough) Just a small question.. I have noticed on all the videos I have seen of the 747..there seems to be a slight apparent increase in fuel quantity on takeoff.which is caused (I believe) because the capacative fuel probes are inaccurate due to all the movement of the fuel in the tanks. This doesn't seem to happen on the 747 in the sim..Am I wrong? I would love to be corrected or taught something new. To most people the sky is the limit. To those who love aviation, the sky is home. greetings, H.Mahesh
