It might take 2 weeks, 2 months or something in between or longer.  Just depends on how stable the RTM is and how many issues must be resolved.  Usually they will issue the installer to Aerosoft after they are comfortable that there are no more changes or hotfixes.  By the way, the installers you download from PMDG or buy on DVD from Aerosoft are identical.

Just to let you know, based on experience with the NGX and the 777, even buying from Aerosoft will probably require large downloads in the near future.  You will receive a CD or DVD.  But PMDG often does updates involving a new full installer, rather than just a fixer file.  Aerosoft does receive these updated full installers but you will need to download any new, full installer from them.

I suppose you are planning to pay by money order?  Maybe PMDG will accept one too.  File a ticket at support.precisionmanuals.com and ask them.  You will need to open a support account.
