I bought a new ssd and now p3d v3 is stuttering and im getting slightly lower fps aswell not happy think i will have to go back to my hdd please help.

I doubt it is the SSD, it could be overly aggressive anti-virus or simply a corrupt installation or improper settings. Have a look at the Prepar3D Guide v1 and Prepar3D Config Guide linked under hot spots on the right side of the page and start there.

What brand, model? I bought a PNY a couple of years ago and it was awful. It benchmarked fine but Windows and, by extension, lots of programs and games, stuttered a good bit.

 

So all in all, I have definitely seen this before.

Install crucial storage executive and make sure you have the latest AHCI driver installed.

Yup didn't do anything the only other thing I did was upgrade to a 7700k from a 6700k but I updated my bios to install the new chipset do you think that could be the problem.

yup was definately the ssd installed p3d back on my old hardrive and everything is fine.

 

Surprising.  You might want to check your virtual memory setting in Windows, make sure it's very large.
