February 11, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hello Thomas, many thanks for your report. You are right, this of course cannot work. The "warp" and "save" buttons are supposed to be disabled when the sim is not active. I'm not sure why they are active for you. I will investigate and correct this with version 1.01 ASAP Edit: Bug is confirmed. In fact, there is an error in the whole Warp/Autowarp logic. This has been fixed in version 1.01 which will enter beta test right away. Sorry about this! Best regards Oliver Binder LORBY-SI
February 12, 20179 yr I really like WAMA, works wonders! I can now walk from my plane (in avatar mode) to my nearby parked BMW and drive to my next airplane on the other side of the airfield. Jump out of the car as avatar and then into that plane Like someone else, I too have a request for a possible update/upgrade: I would like it if either on the settings page (ai model) or on the page where you can load a flightplan, these things could be combined. Assigning a plan to your parked ai plane, lets say to depart in 30 min. This would make it possible to fly formation with the ai as leader or simply have the ai transport a plane to another airfield. Thanks and kind regards, Gerrit

Thanks and kind regards, Hello Gerrit, many thanks for your kind words. About your request: Flight plan/formation: generally speaking there is my AiTracker X app for these things (=make any aircaft fly as AI when and where you want). But AITX and WAMA are not communicating with each other, so WAMA wouldn't know that the aircraft has been moved. This and the AI transfer flight are tricky, a little bit like the request about AirHauler. The problem is, that the simulator will delete the AI at some point, at the very least when you shut down WAMA. So WAMA would have to compile a full scenery database of all airports and parking spots to be able to calculate the exact position of the AI when it (virtually) reaches its destination - like AirHauler does. While this is of course possible, I think that it is currently beyond the scope of this app. Best regards Oliver Binder LORBY-SI
February 12, 20179 yr Hi Oliver, sorry for the slightly off topic question. Is there a support forum for your products, or is it all done through support tickets? (I've got a couple of questions, possible bugs with AI TRACKER) Dave Garwood.
February 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hello Dave, please contact me directly, using the form on the Lorby website or the support email address on the SimMarket page (please include your order number). While there is a support forum, I am about to close it. It has come to my attention that my addons have been pirated, so I am not going to provide public support any longer. Best regards Oliver Binder LORBY-SI
February 12, 20179 yr While there is a support forum, I am about to close it. It has come to my attention that my addons have been pirated, so I am not going to provide public support any longer. While this is perfectly understandable, it would hurt your customers and thus your product. I don't know if it hurts more than the pirating though. Maybe require users wishing public support on your forum to add their order numbers in their profile at a spot where only you can see it? Or let us send you our order numbers via PM and you add "confirmed purchases: X, Y, Z" to a non-editable part of the signature? I don't know how this would map to asking questions here on Avsim though ... maybe send you a PM with our order number so you can keep a list of who has a confirmed purchase?

Not sure it's good business to punish your paying customers because your software has been pirated. Most 3rd party addons have been as well. Please consider requiring a legit order number in order to receive support. It seems to be standard practice. This addon is making some waves. Don't ruin it. Good luck. Aaron Thacker
February 12, 20179 yr Commercial Member Thomas and Aaron, the order number is already a requirement to get any support. TBH, I don't think that anyone would notice when the forum would be closed. In the 18 months since my first addon release there have only been a handful of support requests in the forum. The majority of customers are using the contact form anyway. Besides, my addons are really complex (WAMA is by far the easiest - it seems like a small app, but you are looking at 7000 lines of C# code here - and my other addons are a lot bigger than that). So if someone runs into trouble, I usually require a lot of information to help. I think that a forum would not be ideal for that, I cannot expect people to just post all their personal settings and files online for everyone to see. And if I have to establish contact by email anyway, why bother with a forum at all? Just slows things down IMHO. Important Information could be presented in a blog style manner too. Or maybe I will make a new website one day with a closed forum for support requests. Best regards Oliver Binder LORBY-SI

February 14, 20179 yr Hi! i think its a great idea, thinking to buy it but i have a question. I fly online (ivao) and i dont want to enable the ia in P3d. Do i need to enable it for Wama works? I have seen wama can show the planes like objects or ia. Thanks.

Generating aircraft as plain objects or "AI" refers to the mode how the simulator creates them internally. Plain simobjects don't have aircraft systems, but AI do (which might make doors or gear visible - or not). And it makes a difference in the simulator viewing system, AI can be called up in the Air Traffic view. There are so many aircraft models around, that I thought it would be better to include both options and give the user a choice. Best regards LORBY-SI
February 14, 20179 yr What about performance and VAS if you have a couple of detailed planes from A2A, Carenado etc. parked at an OrbX airport? Is there a "Lite" mode where it doesn't render the other aircraft (maybe they're inside the hangar) but still remembers their positions? -
