AP Disconnect re-connecting?

Hello again,

 

My AP disconnect isn't working. I use the Saitek X52 and have a mapped button with FSUIPC for AP disconnect.

 

In every other a/c, including other PMDG, I press once to disconnect and press again to silence the warnings.

 

Can someone advise the correct settings to have this work in the QOTS II?

 

I press it twice, as I do in the 737 and 777 and it just disconnects and reconnects.

 

I know there's options in the FMC but I don't know which one.

Looking through the manual, looks like in the aircraft options, page 21, AP DISC SCHEME. Check to make sure that says 2 presses and not 1.

Maybe it's an FSUIPC issue. Perhaps I should just map it to the default key command.

Yes, I believe FSUIPC can occasionally cause issues from what I've seen on here, so maybe try doing that and see what happens.

Maybe I misunderstood. But it seems you have mapped a button of your joystick to the fsx function AP disconnect in fsuipc, is that correct?

I would suggest that you map a button in fsuipc to the key set to the AP disconnect switch in the CDU options (CTRL+SHFT+Z by default).
