Hi all,

 

I'm assuming (as in hoping) that this update will above all address my CTD issue. I currently solve this by starting with a non-GTN enabled a/c and disabling the GTN, then restarting the sim, or if that fails by deleting the a/c RXP .ini file. Otherwise functionality seems to be fine. 

 

What's that I hear you say? Wait and see? Oh, OK then ...

 

A question though, what is the update procedure for the RXP GTN 750? No internal 'updater' I gather, so is it a case of a fresh download and reinstall? Or a link perhaps?  Will the Trainer need to be updated?

 

Sorry, I think that was multiple questions. Perhaps some already answered somewhere ...

I'm hopping v2.4 solves the CTD issue you are having, if not, we'll pursue investigating from this version.

 

As for installation, this is quite simple: just download and install the RXP GTN over currently installed. This is for the plugin part.

 

For the Garmin GTN trainer, the latest being 6.21, if not installed yet the new 2.4 installer should detect if you have an older trainer and offers downloading the latest. You shall download and install the trainer as well. It is not mandatory because the GTN plugin works with trainers 6.21, 6.1.1 and 6.0.1, but you'll benefit from the latest GTN trainer features, the latest GTN database and a few new RXP GTN features only with 6.21
