Speedbrakes deployment

Hi,

 

I watch few videos off 747 during landing and i noticed something, when they touch the ground the speedbrakes go to the up position in the cockpit. But when i land they only go to the flight detent position.

I don't know why, i armed them obviously, so i don't know if it's a bug or me doing something wrong if someone can help me to clarify this thanks !

I've had it happen a few times, but it's hit or miss when it does. Question then is, did you bounce on the landing? I'd have to do a bit more flying to see if that may cause it.

I've noticed the same, decent landings but the lever stops at the flight detent.
