1 axis throttle problem

Hello. I'm new to this forum, and also new to flight sim.

Recently, I was thinking about my throttle.

My throttle has only one axis. (Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 4)

When one engine failure or engine fire happens, I think you have to put failed engine's throttle to idle.

but how can I do that in one axis throttle?
