How do you set your view back farther from your plane in Chase View?

Recommended Posts

XP11.....

Can someone advise me how to be further back from my plane when going to Outside View(  Chase Mode)?   I seem to sit right on top of the plane up close at default.  In XP10, I could easily set myself back..but not sure of what setting (where in the Graphics Section) in XP11, that you can do this..or can you even?

Thanks

Ses

I typically use the comma and period keys to zoom, which changes the zoom level of the aircraft.  If you need other zoom and pan commands, I highly recommend downloading this:

Hope that helps.

if you use/hold shift + period or comma you perform a fast camera forward/backward.

this also apply for shift + directional arrows for lateral, vertical movement.

There are other pretty cool keyb combinations for the camera, double check them under xplane joystick & assignment, keys tab
