Estonia Migration Tool

Recommended Posts

I'm a little confused as to how this works.  Is this correct?

1. Start EMT

2. Set target to P3D

3: Enable redirection

4. Run FSX installer

5. Disable redirection

6. Close EMT

7. Go Fly FSX or P2D as usual

Thanks

Tom

More or less. If you want OOM's and poor performance... My advice, leave the FSX only stuff out.

EMT was a good tool in times of P3Dv1. FSX stuff was back then quite compatible and not many code changes took place. Not so much with P3D v3. As above said, I'd also recommend to keep FSX stuff out, if you want stability.

Opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one.  Some like EMT, it seems to sell well, but I've seen a lot of problems in these forums directly cause by EMT that were not easy to fix. I would never let it near my workstation.

But to answer his question, yes that is right.

I have used it specifically for UT2 and it work fabulous. No problems at all.
