P3D CTD with Aerosoft Airbus.

Only when using Aerosoft Airbus. Crashes on load, sometimes i get to the cockpit but the sim crashes soon after. 

Reinstalled P3D - no luck

Reinstalled Aerosoft Airbus with different updates - no luck

 

I'm tired of searching all day so please try to fin something and I'll send you a cookie.

Jim, I do not have SweetFX installed, which is stated as the problem in the CTD guide.

I neither have "Windows Update KB2670838" installed..

Unfortunately you are one of the unlucky ones where there is no solution other than to reinstall Windows and then your applications.  There are no other solutions.

Have you tried loading P3D, and then selecting a default aircraft to fly and seeing if P3D finishes loading to bring you into the cockpit?  If that works, then it isn't P3D.  I have used the Aerosoft Airbus series for a long time, and never came across a CTD with it, but that was due to loading P3D, selecting the AS Airbus, then the airport, weather and time of day.  Aircraft loaded up just fine, whether it was a cold & dark setup or engines running.  I see a DirectX issue shown in the log, so perhaps checking your gpu driver for an update would help?  Also, are your settings in P3D too high?  That would be another thing to investigate.

Another option, if all of the above was followed with no good result, is to delete the P3D.cfg file, and allow P3D to re-create it, and a lot of times, this helps fix issues.

P3D works FINE with any other aircraft.. However I have been flying the AS Busses for a long time without problems, so yes, it has to be something with windows/drivers and not with P3D or AS Airbus.

I'll update.

Jim, I have completely wiped my hard drives and re-installed Windows. d3d11.dll still causes CTD with Aerosoft Airbus...
