RXP GTN 750/650 Touch v2.4 XP11 released

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm having black screen problems with GTN750 at XP11. After reinstallig the trainer and the GTN usually at first start it's working fine. After several or even at the 2nd start I've got black screen on GTN. I have deleted the realityXP.GTN.ini file in the Aircraft folder or reinstales the trainer and the GTN but it doesn't solve the problem. I have tried it on XP10 had the same problems. rxpGTN-XPL-Setup.exe couldn't install the trainer so I had to install it manually from the zip package. Would be appriciate if some one could help me to solve the problem which is really anoying.

RXP, I'm wondering if one can now successfully drag the 750 to another monitor in XP 11? I know this was a problem before. Thanks.

Does this work now?  I am ready to purchase, but I want to be able to drag to a second monitor or tablet with touchscreen support.

Thanks.

Jim

I've been searching the internet about this and it is hard to find a good reason for this error. Somehow, the GTN trainer process fails with Windows.

A lot of web pages deals with "printer drivers", and a few with Direct X installation.

You might want to first start downloading DirectX installation. See this thread:

Then, can you confirm the trainer runs standalone at least?

As soon as XP11 SDK gives us the capability to detach the popup windows, like their own GPS/FMS, we'll make sure to try implementing this feature in our GTN!

Confirming, the trainer runs standalone.

I have reinstalled te whole windows and the x-plane too. The problem is the same:

17/04/08 19:28:31.784 08576 -    ] # rxpGtnSim64.dll version 2.4.2.0
17/04/08 19:29:51.074 08576 ERROR] GTN 750.1 process not ready: C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll
17/04/08 19:29:51.076 08576 ERROR] The specified module could not be found., code: 0000007e
17/04/08 19:29:51.175 08576 ERROR] GTN 750.2 process not ready: C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll
17/04/08 19:29:51.178 08576 ERROR] The specified module could not be found., code: 0000007e

I've checked the C:\ProgramData\Reality XP directory but there is no rxpGtnSim32.dll file just the rxpGtnSim64.dll

DX12 after DX Diagnostic tool is ok too, no printers installed since that's a totally fresh copy of windows.

I had a similar problem. Antivirus deletes this file rxpGtnSim32.dll. Try this: exclude the Reality XP folder from the antivirus scan, run the installer again and everything will work!
