Beat up UPS 747...

Recommended Posts

Painting the UPS 747 BCF for the PMDG 747 V3, adding extra wear and tear as this paint will depict a bird from 2012.

Extra wear around the L1 door.

The cargo door will get the treatment as well.  I put my photo tail on her as you can see (same as the 777F I painted).

It doesn't take too long for those new paint jobs to start looking "lived in". Nice work as always.

Yeah much prefer worked in over pristine (not realistic).

Thanks for the kind comments guys!

I like em worn in as well....I guess one of the reasons I make the extra effort to add these details.

It does take some time, but I feel its worth it, as it adds that little extra level of realism I crave when I'm panning around the exterior, hehe.

I got the right side textured....

Still alot to do, but its slowly getting there.

The extra wear looks so much more realistic!  Nice work,

Thanks guys!

Dan check your PM.

You may want to let Preston know to check his too as I noticed he doesn't frequent here much. (He may have something of interest there, hehe)

One more for the evening...of an angle and time of day I really enjoy.

I love the color of the sky and sun on how it reflects off the fuse...

I have the logo light on which seems to really brings out the tail texture.
