An official hello!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys and gals,

I've been trolling the AVSIM forums and utilizing the library for years. My sim was down for about a year or so, but I am back and it feels great! If you poke around you'll see most of my posts are screenshots. I come from an aviation oriented family. Pops fly's a Bell 430, mom was a flight attendant for TWA many years ago and I currently am an air traffic controller. It's great to see positive interaction and professionalism throughout the forums. Glad to be here!

Welcome!

I am sure that the VATSIM/IVAO networks would welcome you as well, as either pilot or controller.

Welcome back. Just curious but is the job high-stress as perceived to be?

I'll be quite honest, sometimes there are moments where the volume is more than your everyday traffic situation but more less, its the people you work with that make it stressful. There is always one or two sour apples in the facility. Luckily we only have to work with them, and not live with them haha.

An observation that is equally applicable to every occupation I suspect!
