February 23, 20179 yr It's even more fun and dramatic taking of from Runway 09 (by purpose (:-)) in a 737-800NG, so with a very strong tailwind. I truly needed every meter of tarmac to get airborne! Acceleration appeared to last for ever! I made this flight in FSX-SE and iFly 737 and may expencie is that the integrated weather module is very accurate, even much more than when using REX. I also did receive wind shear warnings when lifting off. I just heard in the news that a plane at Schiphol was blown of the runway and as a consequence the landing gear collapsed. Despite holding a PPL I love the safety of simulator flying!!
