Used to be 2 clicks, now hours of searching the forums

Cannot even see any of my content from yesterday in my profile. 

 

Who has time to search through sub forums out the wazoo to find some topic they posted in the day before and are curious to see new posts about it.

 

Yesterday I could find it from my email, or anywhere online in 2 clicks:

 

Avsim.com/Forums (refresh)= Walaa! There are the most popular topics, and the topics you are participating in a two nice pretty rows.

 

Now if you want to find that thread about VR, do you go through the long process of searching all forums for it, do you look in one of hundreds of sub forums, where was it?

 

Oh yeah, there is no VR forum, so if you have a few hours to spare maybe you can find it.

You continue to post your displeasure at the changes to Avsim. We know you aren't happy. Many are not. Please be patient and let this run it's course. Constantly beefing is not going to do anything to solve the problems.

You just have  to get used  to it, by next week  you will find  why was  i was  complaining for

I've tried getting used to it on other forms. It won't happen. Poor design. I'd rather use a 3270 terminal.

I don't have a single issue with the site, as it stands right now.  I know there are bugs and other features to be incorporated, and that will take time, but it IS just a forum, so let's be patient shall we?

I like the new design, resembling Aerosoft and ORBX, so I guess the folks at AVSIM just wanted a fresh and modern function to it, like the others.

No, AVSIM wanted forum software that was not a decade old, practically unsupported, and getting flakier every day...

As a matter of fact, I haven't been able to "quote" properly for several years. Now I can so that's a HUGE improvement for me.  OTOH, the emoticons seems to not yet be functional. :(
