Reality XP GNS 530W/430W V2 -No bezel option

Recommended Posts

I currently running X-plane 9.7 home edition with PFC Digital Avionics Standard (w/ 430W GPS Control Interface) and Reality XP GNS 430W WASS version 6.0.1. I'm having problem with getting the "no bezel" to work. Is there a fix or a work around for this issue?  or upgrading to Reality XP GNS 430W V2 will do the trick?

Thanks,

Tom

I don't think the legacy GNS has the 'no bezel' option unless it is a professional license.

GNS V2 is a different product and there is no current "upgrade" pricing. You can then purchase GNS V2 and use it instead of the legacy product. GNS V2 also supports XP11,XP10 and XP9 in 64/32 bits.

Please note you don't need to re-purchase the PFC Hardware driver, you hardware driver license works for both legacy and GNS V2. However, there is no 64bits version of the driver available yet.

Will I able to re-use my RealityXP.GNS.WAAS.ini files from GNS V1 for V2?

Here's the text from one of the file from V1.

Hi, there won't be an automatic process which converts older settings to newer ones, however, all these exist in the new settings (with different names). With the Settings GUI, it is also very easy and fast to adjust all these now, and most don't even require restarting the simulation and update live!

Here is a canonical example of the new settings:
