fsx-ms Clouds left behind aircraft

FSXWX and FSRealWX. I know FSXWX changes the wxstationlist.BIN along with a couple of other files, but the problem occurred before I installed this and even when I restored the original files. I may be wrong, but I dont think FSRealWX changes FSX in anyway, but you are likely to know more.

I used FSRealWX  ... uninstalled it LONG ago ... I also reported many problems in their forums.

 

Easy to get these mixed up.

Like I say, I have uninstalled it - did your problems continue after the uninstall?

Thanks, I see that there are some CTD issues spoken about, but nothing matching my issue. Once again, when I looked through the forums for FSRealWX and FSXWX, I did not spot any issues like mine.

Maybe you need a fresh install of FSX (FSX SP2 / FSX Accel / FSX Steam?) and test in a default state.

I followed your guidance, and I have tried a repair of FSX and SP1 and SP2. So far so good, I haven't tested it fully in a flight situation, but in a quick test earlier, I could go further from my departure point than before and still have clouds. Thank you for all of your help.

I was thinking the same thing. Sounds like a "reinstall everything and be done with it"-issue
