Your servers Down Sunday Morning?

Recommended Posts

I am working on a video and have preset views that I need which ChasePlane excel at.  I will wait patiently because it is worth it.  Besides, once they see this failure, I am sure they will place some safeguard in place for the future.  That is what I would do if it were my shop.

Love how people say they are "going back to EZDOK".

Things happen... surely the devs will fix it asap and stop complaining CP doesn't do this or that. When you bought it, you clearly saw a note saying it is still in Alpha so don't expect CP to do everything you want out of the box. Also don't compare it to Ezdok since it is a fully released product and this is in alpha and I truely believe CP will surpass ezdok once it is fully released.

So please be patient...

I just wanted to diable CP as Daantjeeuh described on page 2. But I do not have any CP entry

in dll.xml using FSX here. Can some have a look at their dll using FSX too.

Thanks Peter

To Disable it from starting up with FSX, just change your exe.xml  not the dll.xml file for the chaseplane node to look like this:

<Launch.Addon>
    <Name>ChasePlane</Name>
    <Disabled>True</Disabled>
    <Path>D:\ChasePlane\ChasePlane.exe</Path>
    <CommandLine>FSX</CommandLine>
  </Launch.Addon>

I've emailed several times the CP guys to let them know my opinion in regards the need for CP to be online, but they seem not to care about this, and now, we discovered CP is not usable today because their servers are down. Dumb.

It's amazing to me how everyone has praised this program up and down and the second something goes wrong (like it or not it is in Alpha) so many are ready to abandon ship (or aircraft in this case),  I too get mainly the weekends to fly, but I'm not that petty to kick and scream and say I'm going back to EZCA.
