430/530 compatibility with gtn

if i have the latest gtn 650 installed will i have problems with the 430/530? 

i see a post about database issues?

There is no known problems, and the next update will smooth out cross-plugin X-Plane GPS/HSI/VOR overrides.

thats good news, but i just came across an enormous BUT.

i have come across quite a few airports that are in different places between the gtn database and the x-plane world, which obviously causes a problem. whether its the xp or garmin position thats out doesnt really matter to the end user.

Obviously this is to be expected when DB cycles differ too much. Using GTN 6.1.1 db in the GNS helps a lot for this. We are considering the DB question a lot but we just don't have time for now to do much work on this topic.
