This was posted on PCFlight.net a bit ago along with a preview of the next version of Chaseplane to be released...

The good news is he's planning an offline solution which is good because I'd finally be able to buy it.  (I had a 5 day outage in my neighborhood a while back and still get several 5-15 minute blips a day.)

Sounds like they have a reasonable plan and the new Community options are really awesome, I was not expecting that you could preview them so quickly on your sim and then decide if you like and want to import.  Its getting better and better.
