Superfluous windows on launch of P3D

SIMstarter n00b here. I've found my way round profiles etc and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Wait for it.....But.

But when P3D launches via Simstarter the screen is full of pop up windows. You know the ones, shift+3, 4, 5 etc. So the first job is to clear those out of the way. The second job is to re-instate my normal cockpit view from the newly acquired rear seat position i.e. waaay back! I've trawled through the many options in various configs but not discovered a way of overcoming this last little niggle. Otherwise, a jolly good little program.

Any pointers would be welcome.
