Ray..... I should gave been clearer. The fact that it has a 'fake' auto throttle, is what I do NOT like about it.

Like the Dash 8 and the  BAe 146, the RW aircraft do not have auto throttles..... so one would expect an Xtreme version, to remain faithful to this truism.

I have too many automated aircraft, to the point where I wonder why I bother.

I was initially attracted to this, because I assumed it would be realistically modelled and it would be hands-on, and actually need flying. This fake AT ruins it.

Hi Gabe,

Understand your reasons. I limit myself to three addon aircraft but only have two available to me at present. PC12 and this Lear.

Maybe v3 will make it better for you.

Hey Ray, you worked on Radar Contact I seem to remember.

Years ago I found a callsign: "Skyways"

But it was associated with an airline that wasn't obvious.... like "Skyways Sweden" for example.

Do you know a way of finding out which it is, without me having to trawl through every one ?

Cheers.

Hi Gabe. Is there a text file for airlines in any of the folders? If so, that might contain the names of each airline.

I'm still thinking about it, but first I want the Fly the Maddog, and I NEED (!) the VertX (Realair) DA26 ..... first !

But I think I'll give it a try soon.

I had a fly this afternoon with it in v4.4 and it’s fine. If you don’t already have a UHD display then consider one. The cockpit detail is tremendous.

Thanks Ray, sounds good. In fact I do have an UHD, looking forward to the first flight in 4.4.

Has anyone had any issues with the throttles spooling down in P3D v4.4? Seems to be the left engine.

It's happened a few times now and I hadn't touched the throttles. When Mach hold is engaged things are fine. Just when you have manual control of the throttles.

The left engine problem remains in v4.4. I can't revert to v4.3 but I tried it in P3D v3.4 and there's no problem. Definitely a v4.4 bug.

I've written to Xtreme Protoypes. Hope to hear back soon. The Lear is unflyable in v4.4.

It does here now. What did I do? Cleared out the shaders folder. That has fixed it. I'll let XP know.

Did you delete the contents of the Shaders folder after updating to 4.4? If so that's why you had no problems. That was what solved my issue.

I wad going to also post that I am not seeing this behaviour myself. And I did delete the shader... but that simply doesn't make any sense as a cause. Do you have engine mixtures mapped to HOTAS controls? I've caused myself that very issue with jet engines after leaving a high mixture setting on from a previous prop plane flight. Just trying to think of a more reasonable explanation.
