TED VOR?

Hello,

I wondered if someone could test the GNS in their sim and see if the TED waypoint is available?  It's a VOR station at the PANC (Anchorage Alaska) airport.  It seems to be missing my from setup.  It seems odd that a VOR at a major airport like PANC would be missing from the Garmin sim dataset.

I tried loading the Garmin GNS530 simulator program outside of the sim, but I can't seem to power the unit on.  The program opens, and the screen says "Press the Power / COM volume knob to power on the unit." but nothing happens when I click the knob.

The TED VOR is available in the GTN trainer dataset, just missing from the GNS.

It may depend on what GNS navdata set you have installed.

I have whichever navdata set is installed with the Garmin trainer out of the box, so to speak...
