March 3, 20179 yr Just in case you missed the announcement, at 2300 hrs Thursday March 2 MilViz will have a 50% sale on ALL their products. Lasts until Friday 2300. I think most of us would agree that MilViz is in a class all of their own but unfortunately so are their prices. But for the next 24 hours you can buy that addon you have been salivating about for the last year. I will be getting the UH1H Huey Redux and the F-100D Super Sabre... At least that's my plan - whether or not I can stop at only two remains to be seen! Yes, I DO have an addiction problem... Sigh

March 3, 20179 yr Author Sweet indeed Ryan. Just don't let my wife find out or you can add "fatal" to that description. I couldn't help myself - got the F4E/F4J combo as well as the Huey and F-100D, all joining the P-38 I got in a previous sale. Cheers Ian

Am now trying to confine my purchases as far as possible to products in sales, while still keeping a low profile from the wife! Bill
March 3, 20179 yr Might be a little late with this question, but does anyone have any experience with the Bobcat? I'm not over-impressed by the screenshots but perhaps the aircraft is more impressive in use. Bill

March 4, 20179 yr I have the Bobcat (to answer your question). It's ok. I little underwhelming as far as systems go. It does fly pretty nice. The GTN 750 integration doesn't work. I understand an update is in the works. At 50% off, I'd say it's a very nice buy, but hurry. One hour left as of this post's time. I'd like to add, the sounds are very good and the flight model is very nice indeed. The GTN 750 integration doesn't work. I understand an update is in the works. I bought the Bobcat also and it loks like a nice vintage airplane. And it has quite believable flight dynamics and sounds. The GTN750 actually works, but you need to assign a button to the function "Master Avionics ON/OFF". Otherwise the GTN remains dead, as there is no Avionics switch in the Bobcat. March 4, 20179 yr Thanks Flyfox. I'll give that a try. Richard Chafey i7-8700K @4.8GHz - 32Gb @3200 - ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero - EVGA RTX3090 - 3840x2160 Res - KBSim Gunfighter - Thrustmaster Warthog dual throttles - Crosswind V3 pedals MSFS 2020, DCS

I went into the settings -> controls -> buttons/switches (or w/e it's called) area of P3D. There's a command called "Avionics Master On/Off". I assigned a key combo to this. Then, once in the aircraft, I pressed the combo once or twice and it did turn on (the GTN).
