Install xp11 curiousity

Recommended Posts

When i install xp11 anew (like after os reinstall and drive wipe) it looks like it deletes xp files on my external ssd.

Anyone else seen this or is it the vodka?

It should not touch the other drive. X Plane installs itself in its own directory and runs out of it. Nothing is written to the registry.

Unless of course you reinstalled to the same location on the external drive, then it can overwrite files. But it should leave your Custom Scenery and plugins unaffected.

Maybe you made links to files on the drive you have wiped ?

Oh well, nothing lost that i didnt backup.
