Interesting... especially the find, with V4 Beta login.

They've said 2017 - so they still have some way yet... we'll see, though...

Not sure how long this login page has been available, but perhaps this is a sign that there is an expanded beta tester need. According to some other dev forums, they been running with beta V4 for a while now in order to prepare their products and also to test. But casting a wider net of testers would perhaps signal they are getting closer. Or maybe its just a dev v4 beta tester login anyhow.  Of course its all speculation, but hey, DTGFS has barely given us anything at all.

Obvious to me that the upcoming FSCON 2017 will be where the announcement of version 4 is made.

hhhm, LM is attending yes, but its not exhibiting and its not in the list of exhibitors, so that probably means there will be no V4 announcement.

I was just about to say the same thing and I was a bit surprised they were not on the exhibitors list because I thought someone mentioned before they would be so I wonder if that changed.

Maybe they are being sensible and waiting to see what the compertition eg LM bring to the table,the way i see it DTG is not competition for LM but LM is serious compertition for DTG,althought they are aimed at different markets we the customer will be able to use both,I belive it would be difficult for DTG to release something and then have their product overshadowed by LM when it is finally released,LM  must surley have a head start on DTG in the development of a 64 bit flightsim,lets face it how many people will want to or can afford to run two 64 bit flightsims

I can imagine that v4 is not a big update like from v1 to v2 and v2 to v3. Lots of extra work.

Just curious : if P3Dv4 is going to cost $ 250-300 who of you would buy it...?

I would if I saw the benefits would justify the cost and when I know all add-ons I like to use have been updated to work with the new version.
