[FSX] On longer flights, the VC camera's won't stay in their original positions

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have this problem with ChasePlane that on longer flights my VC views shift around a lot (especially when making turns) so I have to re-program the views after every turn. Is there a fix for this? I think EZCA had the same problem.

Thanks in advance.

This is a bug in FSX, not in ChasePlane. We are thinking of ways we could correct it in ChasePlane but we can't confirm a fix at this time.

Regards,
Keven

It happens with all aircraft. It's just the length of aircraft that matters most. Longer it is, the more shifting visible.

That makes sense, because I only really notice it in the 747 and the 777.

This is the biggest reason that I rarely fly to Anchorage for my cargo flights, whenever I go up their, the view change wayyy too much.

Yeah like others have said, that's a bug in FSX and is dependent on how long the aircraft is, and what part of the globe you find yourself. Thankfully, that issue has been taken care of permanently in Prepar3d, in one of the latest versions. The views are now rock solid regardless of whether the aircraft is 2 miles long and/or you find yourself at the edge of our galaxy
