Major resellers/developers on Amazon

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I couldn't figure out where to post this, so this seems like a safe forum for this subject. My family has adopted the gift of Amazon gift cards for gifts. I have amassed a pretty good credit on Amazon, and I'd like to spend it on FS stuff before my wife starts spending it for me.

I already have found Aerosoft and Just Flight. I have purchased what I need, but I still have a bit more to spend. I have searched for the usual suspects, but I feel like I may be missing something.

Anyone have suggestions for reputable resellers of boxed add ons (Prime preferred)? I don't need any hardware. If I can't find anyone else, I fear that my credit will be eaten up by household goods.

Thanks!

Thanks all. I think scenery and aircraft are what I am really interested in.

You would think Flight1, Simmarket or similar would have a presence on Amazon.

Why would Flight1 or Simmarket have a presence on Amazon? They have their own websites and Amazon is difficult to do business with if you are a retailer - why would they need the hassle?

There are plenty of Flight1 DVDs on Amazon, plus Just Flight and Aerosoft. Type "for FSX" in the search box.

Thanks. Aerosoft seems to have the best offerings. I finally picked up a few PMDG products from them. Most of the other stuff I am seeing is either quite old or not sold new by well-known sellers. You need to click through a bit more to see where the thing is actually coming from. The title may say Flight1, but the product isn't actually sold by Flight1. My concern is pirated software or key issues.

More business? I don't know. Aerosoft seems to find value in it, but they are probably just using Amazon to move overstocked boxed titles. I'm not judging - just wondering if more have followed suit.

When they make boxed product a certain portion is always earmarked for those outlet's it's quite normal. I've had many sales through Amazon when Flight1 Europe was operating now gone unfortunately. Boxed product requirements are less these days.
