Nothing if you don't have an engine failure .

It changes the acceleration height to whatever is defined in that field if you experience an engine failure.

If I have an engine failure what happens?

At acceleration height does it go to climb thrust?

It's as it's named: It's the accel height.

Basically, on departure, the profile is as follows:

  • Takeoff roll, with takeoff thrust
  • Initial climb at V2 + additive until accel height
  • At accel height, you pitch over and accelerate and retract flaps
  • At reduction height/trigger (reducing flaps to a certain point can be a trigger as well), you reduce thrust to CLB

The only change here is that you accel earlier with an engine out. Additionally, the LAST thing you want to do when you've lost an engine is reduce thrust even more, so, there's no thrust reduction in that case.
