March 18, 20179 yr Hello, in FSUIPC i use a Offset for the Condition Levers of the Dash8. In the FSUIPC.ini it looks like: 9=P1,9,Cx3200088E,x3E800FA0 -{offset sword increment, offset 088E (Incr=4000, Limit=16000)}- How can I get it to work in Linda ? Cheers
March 18, 20179 yr Hi Sven Welcome to the LINDA community. You can certainly wrote and read FSUIPC offsets. You can see a single offset by click on a button and selecting the FSUIPC offset from the pop-up menu. Alternatively, you will need to write a LUA function and place it in the aircraft's user.lua file (clock on Edit top left and then click on Edit User in the dialog). Unfortunately I am away from my computer at present and cannot remember the precise instructions. However, if you look in the default library - lib-fallback.lua - you should find an example. August 2, 20214 yr An item still eludes me. I've been searching the internet all day. Linda's folders contains two FSUIPC texts - variables in alphabetic order, in numeric order,. Numerics used in Lua functions all over. All numerics seem to be 60000 and up. For the life of me, I can't find the correlation between the offset and the numeric control. Hex to decimal doesn't seem to work. I would like to react FSUIPCs offset description thru the alphabetic to numeric Linda list. Edited August 2, 20214 yr by dhsimmonsfsx
August 2, 20214 yr Controls and offsets are completely separate and their is no correlation. In LINDA these can both be accessed and viewed in Developer mode via the Tracer page. They can also be used in LUA code using the instructions found in the FSUIPC Documents titled LUA Library. Details of the offsets available to read and write directly to FSUIPC are in the Offsets document.
