Lost XP11 sounds

A very odd issue... I've done a system reboot and all but I have no in-sim sounds.  I do have sounds from youtube, the GTN clicks in the RXP GTN750, but anything directly driven by XP is not working, engine, gear, flaps, etc etc.  The master sound box is ticked and all sliders are ticked at various levels.  My Win7 master volume panel shows XP11 as enabled and working normally.

I've got no clue what could be the problem.

After a reboot nothing worked.  So I redownloaded the Open AL sound driver for Win7 x64 and rebooted and it worked.  Weird.

I have the same problem .. it started yesterday 28May and corrected itself with a restart of the XP11.   Happened again today.  In both cases, initially had sound but then it quit after 30 mins or so.   No sound in XP11 and sound for everything else..
