Smoke? Stones? Behind engine.

Hi everyone,

I have just noticed when in a behind wing view i can see what looks like smoke or some sort of texture coming from the wing ( seems from the engines ) I didn't notice this when first using the PMDG 747 so thought i would check if this was something added with the update? I just want to be sure its not something wrong, I have checked with all over aircraft and even the PMDG 777 but do not notice it.

Not absolutely certain, but I think they are modeling the exhaust from the engines.  The 744 has pretty clean engines, but they're not the modern state of a 777 and there is some small exhaust trail.  Maybe heat blur as well.

Exhaust.  Been there since the original beta versions.

Because they changed it.  Originally it was more of a heat signature.  Now it's this strange speckled thing.  Don't care for it.

I'm not overly keen on it either.. It looks to me like something is more wrong than an actual effect. Many others might see it differently or even as a good thing but to me it looks strange..
