No glidescope capture when flying in level change

I am using latest navigraph data onboard. Does the sim ils work from that data or embedded default data?

From your response it seems the ils is based in the afcad file.. Which is default... So your explanation makes complete sense. Thanks!

The sim works on the FSX data. Ted Stevens VOR at Anchorage for example is fairly new, and is not in FSX in its proper position nor the frequency, You can use a program called BGLNavEditor to modify these things. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

All the radio signals - VOR, DME, NDB, ILS, come from FS X files. If an ILS, VOR etc. is missing or has different frequencies in FSX, they won't be picked up by the aircraft navigation equipment. The navdata in the NGX and AFAIK all other addon aircraft comes from files specific to the aircraft or the maker of the aircraft (in this case PMDG).  Almost always the navdata files will be much more up to date than the FSX scenery and airport files -- unless you install more up to date scenery and/or AFCADs in FSX.  You can tell what is in  FSX's files by using the FSX map.
