FSX files

Recommended Posts

Hi, recently I tried searching for my FSX.cfg file but I couldn't find it. Only what I could find was a FSX file (without .cfg on it) and when I opened that there were still my configurations. Can I still use that file to make configurations or not? Beacause I deleted by mistake the FSX.cfg

The fsx.cfg file is in users/your name/app data/roaming/Microsoft/fsx and if deleted will be automatically rewritten by FSX

Make sure you have "show hidden files and folders" checked in your folders options.

Do you see any extensions what so ever? if you open "computer" then click on "organize" then in the tab go to folder and search options, then the middle tab and in the list uncheck " hide extensions ..." and more down the list under files and folders check" show hidden files, folders and stations", let us know cause I think the FSX file you see is the good file.

+1  If you have not checked "Show hidden file extensions" the the file you see as FSX is the FSX.cfg.
