Back when I used to fly real planes I made many trips from Jeffco Airport KBJC in Metro Denver Colorado to Lake Havasus, Az KHII. I would head to  Granby, CO then follow the Colorado River all the way to Lake Havasu. It looked just like your pictures and took all day but I never got bored on those flights.

Just amazing shots and scenery.  Without a doubt this part of the US is one of the most interesting places on earth to fly over!

Many thanks for commenting....I see Granby lake where the Colorado starts, Kremming Glenwood Springs, and New Castle...it's got great color through there!

Appreciate the comment...area has the white carmel, red Navajo sandstone and all the layers of the Colorado Plateau!
