Strange behavior of flight plans

Recommended Posts

I'm using the GPS addon with panelbuilder and it behaves strange when I'm using flight plans. I have a simple flight plan like

Airport A
NDB 1
NDB 2
NDB 3
Airport B

Starting at Airport A i activate the flight plan and after take off switch the autopilot on. The aircraft goes to NDB 1 and on arrival changes course to NDB 2. At NDB 2 it changes course to NDB 3. But on the way to NDB 3 it suddenly heads back to NDB 1.The GPS shows that NDB 1 is the next destination. After arriving at NDB 1 it heads direct to NDB 3. But before arriving at NDB 3 the plane heads back to NDB 1. This back and forth continues until I switch of the autopilot or deactivate the flight plan.

This happens with different flight plans and on different legs.

Has anybody else encounterd such a behavior?

I'm using PanelBuilder 2.98 and the MFGGPS Addon 1.50.

Bye,
Guido

It seems that flight plans aren't working at all. Everytime I try to use a flight plan the same things happen that I described in my first post.

Is there anyone who is using flight plans successfully?

Bye,
Guido

Hello

I must say this Simplugin's forum is quiet

anyway I did get it to work in P3D V4

I uninstalled from P3D V3 and reinstalled the 2.97 version

and after install I use only Panel Builder and simplugins Prepar3dv3 modules

not the simplugins fsuipc P3D

Panel Builder is no supporting P3D V4. There is an update available, V2.99

If you don't want to update, the P3D V3 Interface works as well (only simconnect). FSUIPC only works with the new Version of Panel Builder.

Also, there is an update to the MFD GPS Add-on that fixed the flight plan issue. Update here: https://www.simplugins.com/html/gps.html

Sorry about not responding earlier, I used to get notifications for new posts, but not any more.
