FlyJSim 727 Study V2 for X-Plane 11 - Opinions

Now that XP11 R1 is out, I started looking at add-on aircraft that claim to be XP11 compatible and FlyJSims 727 Series Study V2 came up. I'm interested in opinions on the quality, completeness and fidelity of this aircraft. Video looks good. Price is attractive if the quality is there. Like most coming from the FSX/P3D world, I'm looking for quality and wonder how this compares to FSX/P3D best in class offerings.

Go forth with confidence! The 727v2 Its a great bird! The Fight Factor 757v2 is also very good!

Well for better or worse, it's now mine. I picked up the CIVA INS plugin as well (in for a penny, in for a pound, as they say). Inaugural short hop from KSFO to KSJC with INS approach was a complete success!

in my experience, flyjsim products scratch on "pmdg standards" (if that term has any relevance in xp). They are without a doubt the greatest offerings of tubeliners from the steam gauge era in any sim. You have to like the fmc free navigation though. however it is really refreshing to fly that way because you actually have something to do during the flight ;) 

the 732 is also a great plane and its receiving an insane xp11 upgrade atm.

I have both of Jack's aircraft and systems wise they are great.  Unfortunately, I think both the 732 and 727v2  need an update for the VC textures and exterior Nav lights which look too large.

What's wrong with the VC textures?

I've noted so far, the plug-in nav options are less than optimal in XP11. The CIVA does not navigate beyond the first waypoint (as far as I can tell) and X-FMC does not work with XP11, so the 3D console mounted FMC option is not usable. The default XP11 FMC is apparently functional, but can only be used in a 2D pop-up window. Hopefully, these will both be address at some point.

I would like the VC to be updated to higher resolution textures such as the IXEG 737, Flight Factor 757v2, or the JAR A320/330 has.  They just do not look as realistic as they should in my opinion.
