Machine gun ATC

Today I tried 2.2.1.1 from Camarillo KCMA to Henderson Executive KHND.

All went well until trasfered to approach. I noticed the map went blank and atc stop talking. I continued on my own and after landing ATC resuscitated and started shooting nonstop instruction from were it left off. I have encountered this issue in previous versions as well. Not sure if the map stopped in the previous occasions because I ussually minimize the map or P2A.

Is P2A hanging because it is waitting for the map provider to update? Can we have the option to just stop the map? I never use the map at all. Does P2A need the map to function? 

I am running P2A on a remote PC where it is the only program running. It is an 8 core AMD, not a slow PC, my FSX PC is an Intel 7700k at 4.6. I am suspecting the P2A hangings are related to its internet connection.

I've had this happen to me, but with stock FSX:SE ATC (no air traffic add-ons, nor P2A), usually after I've used time acceleration. All on a single PC.

I post this for information as I can't help with the specific problem.

I repeated same flight tonight and in approach again map went blank and ATC silent. After landing ATC gave long stream of instruction from were it stopped.

Different route, same problem.

This time KCMA FIM VNY DARTS KSMO

during approach map goes blank and ATC goes silent until landing. Tis time an unhandled exception pop up. I am not sure if this I just hit continue the previous times. Here are the details:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
