If you're having issues with performance, easiest way is to turn down the sliders.

I have the addons:

http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=flt1fex

https://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utxeurope (bought in 2013 = Not V2)

Flight 1 Software - Ultimate Traffic II

FSGlobal2008

FSX was release 2006 before theese addons but FSX SE was release in 2015 so a special FSGlobal should be out to date in FSX SE?

To guarantee that everything will work as you want, I'd advise you to completely remove your old FSX installation, including all of the extra folders and registry entries. If you just uninstall it, there's a chance that any add-ons you try to install will not see the correct path for FSX:SE.

Perfect way to start. I'm sure you'll enjoy FSX:SE.

Hi

I have installed the FSX SE now. But I have run into a big problem :(

The windows logs are telling:

Programmet fsx.exe, version 10.0.62615.0, avslutades eftersom det slutade samverka med Windows. Ytterligare information kan finnas i problemhistoriken i Säkerhet och underhåll på Kontrollpanelen.

 Fullständigt namn på felaktigt paket:

I do hope you can understand the faulty even in Swedish? :)

Looks like a gigantic meatball!  I'll see if I can turn it into Häagen-Dazs!

The fsx.exe program, version 10.0.62615.0, was terminated because it stopped working with Windows. Additional information can be found in the Security and Maintenance issue in the Control Panel.
  Process ID: 3e2c
  Start time: 01d2bc430749c960
  Closing time: 4294967295
  Application path: F: \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ FSX \ fsx.exe
  Report ID: bd6f15c4-5864-44da-940a-553552e050e7
  Full name of incorrect package:
Program ID Relative to Incorrect Package:

It is not really stating a faulting module so you may need to look deeper into the Events Log.

Hi

The fault is bellow:

I am starting FSX SE and go for "Free Flight" the progam is CTD right away without showing any mess... ?

Am I need to do something first before playing?

I have my system in disk C:/, steam and FSX installed in disc F:/. Is there a problem with Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Packages?

I cannot see any log about the problem. Anyone else who have had this fault?

I hope what I am about to post will help find why you are getting a CTD (Crash to desktop)

Control Panel-> Administrative Tools-> Event Viewer, select Custom Views-> Administrative Events.
One of the listed events will be for your CTD. The "Faulting Module" should point to the problem area.

Tell us what the Faulting Module is! That will point us in the direction of the proper error, aiding in troubleshooting.

BELOW IS A SAMPLE OF WHAT YOU MIGHT SEE!

General Tab:
Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14
Faulting module name: This is what we need to Know!
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000ee3a
Faulting process id: 0x748
Faulting application start time: 0x01ce0253dc4b69d4
Faulting application path: R:\FSX\fsx.exe
Faulting module path: R:\FSX\window.dll
Report Id: 9caf77b4-6e50-11e2-8570-3085a99825d1

If there is not one listed:
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000,
you will need to do as previously noted

No Faulting Module? ->
Remove all of the add-ons, and test the sim. If it works OK, then reinstall them one at a time and test.
Be sure to test each thoroughly before moving on to the next

I have solved it for now by following: https://steamcommunity.com/app/314160/discussions/0/626329820756037344/ :)

Lets see if that works tomorrow?
