What's this about a C337 2.0?

Recommended Posts

From looking at the video, can't say it looks much different from the old one.  Higher resolution?

That'd be nice.  It'd be nice to see a new cockpit arrangement with a new autopilot.  It's still a great airplane but lots of opportunities to make it better.

It would be great if they added options for the GTN 750/650. I believe this was one of the last Carenado birds without an installer for third party avionics. It's also one of my favorite Carenado planes.

I fly mine with an RXP GNS530 in the panel.  Was one of the best planes, when it first came out.

Lots of "character"..

In the video the Collins Nav is now correctly labeled (not "Com"), but the LDG switch still shows LOG.

The textures for the fuel selector look much better.

The ADF now seems to have a standby frequency, which is nice.

The colors of the fuel pump switches have wrong colors.

I'll send them an email.

And the video shows the O2 (military) variant.

How did you get around the in-place 3d knobs?

It came with an RXP integration exe file.

Works cleanly.

Where did you see that? I only saw the standard 337 in the old military look.

It would be great if they would include a real O-2!

Oops, sorry ... I did not look close enough. Yes, that's the old 3044.

Does anyone know when the V2 is coming out? All I saw in their facebook page was coming out soon?

Just announced this morning on Facebook.  Downloaded, installed and did short flight this morning.  Noted problem with nav lights and submitted ticket to Carenado.  Otherwise, latest version is quite nice and accepts repaints from prior version.
