Transparent cockpit and plane

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Yesterday i bought this airplane and when i wanted to fly i see a transparent cockpit.

I fly FSX with the acceleration pack.

I know there is a lot written about this problem, but i still don't have found the solution.

What i did so fare:

- i did install as admin and disabled my anti-virus software.
- new installation of my acceleration pack over my existing one.
- building new fsx.cfg
- rebuild shader
- clean install of aircraft
- remove thrusted software from fsx.cfg
- look in fsx.cfg under thrusted software for minus sign

Still no luck at all.

Hope you can point me in the right direction, cause i don't know anymore.

Do you use Ezdok or Chaseplane ?

Do you have this problem with default FSX aircraft?

I don't know what you mean by Ezdok or Chaseplane.

This is the only plane where i have this problem with.

Other aircrafts in FSX are fine and no problem what so ever.

"- rebuild shader"

What is that?

"I know there is a lot written about this problem,"

Where did you see it?

You delete the shader map in your appdata.

Then you start FSX, and i will rebuild the shader map.

Sometimes this works if there are problems with textures.

"You delete the shader map in your appdata."

Which folder (path) and name to delete?

I have never had to do it .. for many years with FSX.

Different forums describe this problem, when you search in google for: Carenado transparent.

I have two folders:

Shaders

Shaders10

"Different forums describe this problem, when you search in google for: Carenado transparent."

Have you seen it in any Carenado forum .. or this one on the CJ2?

Any caremado plane, not just the CJ2. All the problems are the same and look al like.

The question is, how can i solve this?

What I would do is:

""Different forums describe this problem, when you search in google for: Carenado transparent."

Go to those forums and post your problem and see if there is an answer (reply).

At the same time do a trouble ticket wit Carenado.

Let us know what you find out.

Hi Folks,

Had exactly same after I had an OS crash - I rebuilt the OS and tried running P3D without reinstalling all my individual aircraft - since they were unaffected by the OS crash (different disk)... I'm pretty sure it's missing registry entries for the Carenado planes - probably some sort of copy protection - I ran the official installer again for each plane and it corrected the issue for me...

Scott
