Unwanted Circle in Chase Plane view?

Recommended Posts

Hi PDX,

A short answer is: check your LUA files in the Plug-Ins folder. If I remember correctly there is a "Heading_helper" file. I eliminated mine.

Nice picture by the way.

Jim is right.  After installing FlyWithLua, you should read the manual, which outlines the Lua scripts included.  Yeah, that heading helper is really annoying. lol

Btw, those messages in the lower left, indicate your QNH is off.  Go to your Lua scripts in the upper menu and run the automatic QNH script.  It'll track your QNH until you turn it off, but while you fly, it'll adjust the QNH for you...pretty handy.

OK.  I will actually take a little time to read the manual.  I worked in computer programming for many years, and the last thing we wanted to do was read the manual.  Only when we got desperate.

When all else fails, read the manual. :gaul:
