My first Xplane

So I'm going to get 11. Should I just buy the digital download or get it on Steam. Never used Steam before. Is it more convienent. ? can I install 11 on to its own drive with steam. I'm sure I will have many questions going forward. But this is to just get me started. ☺

Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, where your internet connection isn't that great, go for the direct download from Laminar. You can stay up to date better.

get it directly from Laminar. its better to support them directly instead of via a 3rd party

I believe you cannot participate in betas via Steam. And I also believe that Valve wants its cut of the sales, so purchasing direct from Laminar is making sure all your money goes to the good guys.
