Belgium 2012 free photoscenery

Recommended Posts

Gerard, is it possible to show a map with the area your France scenery covers?

Here a map of what I did in total.

I took the photo's for the scenery from site X and I used them for my own pleasure.

Because Belgium and Luxembourg are not being covered by any payware scenery I posted the links.

However , it appears that France has been covered and is being covered again in higher resolutions by France VFR which is payware and I respect the invests they made.

Therefore I will not release that part.

I hope you can understand my point of view.

Unzip both files to a single "Scenery" folder of your choice, if you do not want to use Addon Scenery within FSX.

Then go to your scenery library at the FSX startup screen and "add area" as you would for any other scenery, pointing it to where ever you chose to locate/store the unzipped content.

If you are still unsure of what to do, then a seach of the forum here and elswhere for "Scenery Install" topics will give you all the info you need.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Last year I made a photoscenery for Belgium, Luxembourg and the North-East of France.

All in 1 m/p and the Brussels area in 0.5 m/p.

After many requests I decide to upload Belgium and Luxembourg and put the dl links here.

They are valid till 25th mai.

Belgium 2012 Part 2 : http://wtrns.fr/OrErjUra2faIkME

How do I get around this roadblock to download? Thanks.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I just have checked the dl links and they are working fine.

This type of error occurs when trying to create a file on the C: drive.

To fix:

  • Run secpol.msc ( Start --> Type this in the little white window 0
  • Go to Local Policies > Security Options > Accounts: Administrator account status > Properties. Click Enable, OK and log out.
  • Now log in using the Adminictrator option that has now appeared.

Good luck !

Just place the HD scenery above the Belgium 2012 scenery.

All airports you have for Belgium and Luxembourg go above the photo scenery.

Waffle Flight is 2MPP and Gerard's scenery is 1MPP with Brussles area @ 0.5MPP.

According to TmfViewer, WaffleFlight is mainly at LOD14 with a couple of areas at LOD16. 2012 is mainly at LOD13 with an area of LOD15

So 2012 is at a lower resolution than Wafflelight.

Hi,

Downloading Belgium 2012. Takes a while due to slow IC.

My question: have you solved the problem of the invisible runway approach lights on photoreal scenery.

That is the last problem to solve to add EBOS to your photoreal.

Thanks.

In fact, overall both are at the same resolution, LOD 14, 2.4m/pixel.

Hi ! Many thanks to you, Gerard (Gsalden) ! This is really outstanding !

And George, heu, this is what my eyes are seeing, same place, same hour, same... everything, somewhere above Evere :

Waffleflight :

Gsalden :

I don't start any comparison : I'm grateful for the job that was made by Waffleflight, a great step in my belgian FSX experience. But I think your post could confuse some viewers : the two products are not the same, the resolution of this one is better, it's worth the download.

Best regards,

PS : And, by the way, I didn't made a separate file for brussels, so the real result is maybe even better...
